5 hour adult beginners ski day
Had an 5 hour adult beginners ski day with Dean. Went so well, better then expected. Only fell a handful of times and left with a level 3. There were 8 of us on the course, and you definitely cover a lot in 5 hours. Legs were sore but had a fantastic time. Dean was friendly and enthusiastic. Really good at what he does and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to ski.

Excellent session of 'Logie Guided Practice' this morning with Instructor Nathan Steele.

He set a series of exercises and good demonstrations.

Most enjoyable.

Not recommending!!!
I would give a -5, the experience was horrible, the quality of the snow is below expected, they are not organised at all, not interested to provide you with suitable equipment as per size, weight and height. You have no space to ski as there are too many people for 1 slope, the chances of accidents are high. The prices are too high for what is offered.Overall, I would not recommend the place, not even if you are bored.

No refunds even for COVID
2 people were removed from a booking of 5 people 5 days in advance due to testing positive for COVID. No refund was offered, credit was offered instead which expires in 6 months and is not wanted.

Snowboarding : my new passion.
I’ve recently completed my level 4 snow boarding lessons. Progressed to level 5. I do have to admit my instructor RCW : Rowan Chetwynd Woods is absolutely amazing. I’m so glad that He was my instructor for 2 of my classes. He helped me learn so quickly. He provided useful tips and constructive feedback. He analysed my mistakes and helped me counter them. To me he’s the best instructor a beginner could have. Cheers Roman.
Thanks for everything. You made me fall in love with snowboarding.

Regards
AJ

Would never visit again
Really disappointed, with the amount it costs for a lesson and all of the hire we were told it would be 5 children per lesson.

We booked a group lesson of 5 due the fact that one of our twins is on the spectrum and she sometimes does not do well with crowds. We thought as it is advertised as 5 per lesson it would be great.

3 lessons were grouped together so it was in fact 15 children per lesson. Raised our concerns which were flat out denied. We took pictures of our children in the lessons as any parent would and it clearly showed 15 people per "lesson".

Rude management, not empathetic whatsoever. Continued to say that the other instructors helped each other out, even though the children were doing the same thing as the others. Hence grouping them all into one lesson which was not 5 in a group as advertised.

Both our daughters had individual private lessons with Chris Smith. He was great with them and both noticeably grew in confidence and ability. Will book again! Thank you.

My Son had a great ski level 2b lesson with Chris Smith. Chris made the lesson fun and I could see my Son was engaged listening to instructions which isn’t always the case!

My Sons skiing also progressed well. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Great level 2 adult ski lesson
I have recently completed my level 2 ski lesson with David. I booked a 2-hour adult ski lesson, which currently takes up to 6 people per session but there were only 2 of us. This allowed plenty of time for each of us to get tailored feedback from David, who was friendly, encouraging, clear and knowledgeable.

I recommend borrowing boots if you can, as the rental boots are quite uncomfortable, but it's manageable if you can't. All of the staff are kind and helpful, and you get a free drink at the end and a chat with the instructor. I would suggest only turning about ~15 minutes before your session starts, or you'll be waiting around and there isn't much space to view the slopes from the changing area. BEWARE, changing rooms are currently closed! But the toilets are spacious if you can't change beforehand.

Excellent ski tuition…
Just had my second two hour adult ski lesson with David Horton as my instructor. Dave was great - very encouraging, positive and astute in correcting newbie skier mistakes. The whole environment is very welcoming, the equipment is high quality and being able to ski on real snow (on one of the hottest days of the year) is fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone learning to ski or looking to improve your technique.
